ESS announces launch of the S-1 Solar Shade Structure

ESS debuts Solar Barns at the 2009, Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show.

Evolution Solar Systems announced their plans to introduce 2 solar structures specifically designed for ranch and farm use at the 2009, Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. These prefabricated steel structures utilize the Lifeport and Lifepod modular building design allowing ranchers and farmers convenient solar energy integration into everyday work and recreational applications. These buildings are perfect for horse stables and corrals, equipment storage barns and workstations in orchards and fields. The structures can be built out to deliver 3.2 kW to 6.4 kW of electricity, which in most instances exceeds energy needs for typical ranch or farm applications.



ESS to introduce "Learn To Earn Solar" program to schools in California and Arizona

Evolution Solar Systems announced today, the plan to launch a fundraising program to help increase awareness to solar energy integration in public schools in California and Arizona. The program will help schools build and develop solar power plants on campus, to meet and exceed the energy needs of the school facility. All participating schools will receive discounts on PV panels and matching funds for installation costs."



Solar Power International 2008 a Huge Success!

Almost 18,000 professional attendees registered to participate in this year`s conference and expo and another 5,700 members of the general public walked the show floor during the 3-hour "Public Night", bringing the grand total to more than 23,000 participants! California Govenor, Arnold Schwarzenegger delivered a surprise speech at the Solar Power International conference on opening night, saying that the conference was, "without any doubt, the biggest and the best of the conferences in the United States." He called for a sustained commitment to clean technologies saying they can aid the country`s economic recovery. After touring the exhibit floor, Schwarzenegger spoke to solar industry professionals. "No matter where you look, there`s solar involved. It`s everywhere. It`s the future; it`s now. It can`t be stopped."



ESS to introduce solar powered charging stations in Phoenix and Santa Barbara.

ESS to design, build and test solar shade structures and solar cabin charging stations for battery electric vehicles and park maintenance equipment. The first units will be installed in the Phoenix/ Scottsdale area and will be a part of a community pilot program to bring more solar electric charging facilities into operation.


ESS launches "GREEN BACKS" rebate program

Evolution Solar Systems introduces a customer incentive program designed to benefit students and parents who purchase an Envision Solar, LifeSystem product in 2008. The "GREEN BACKS" program will offer a $500.00-$700.00 cash rebate on the purchase of qualifying ESS products. The rebate will be paid directly to an enrolled student who agrees to use the funds for college tuition and expenses.



EVOLUTION MOTOR COMPANY and ESS to create Solar Powered, Zero Emission touring exhibit for zoos and aquariums across the United States.

Evolution Motor Company and Evolution Solar Systems will unite technology and resources to create the first solar powered, zero emission touring exhibit to visit zoos and aquariums across the United States.

The exhibit will feature 1 fully integrated LifePort solar system which will help power EMC battery electric vehicles to perform in daily zoo operations. The EMC all electric vehicles will also be used as VIP tour vehicles.
